MoraBanc’s solidarity card raises €64,042 for 22 social organizations in Andorra

2026-02-09

MoraBanc’s solidarity cards raised a total of €64,042 during 2025 through contributions from clients and from the bank itself. Since the launch of the program, MoraBanc’s flagship social initiative has raised €1,509,245 for partner organizations. The funds collected are distributed among participating NGOs according to each client’s preferences.

Donations through the Solidarity Card stem from the commitment of clients who participate in the program by making donations and rounding up their purchases. For each purchase made with the card, the cents required to round the amount up to the next ten cents or the next euro are donated to the organizations selected by the client. MoraBanc matches the total amount contributed by clients, including the rounded-up purchases.

Projecte Vida Andorra joins the Solidarity Card

Projecte Vida Andorra becomes the 23rd organization to join MoraBanc’s Solidarity Card program. It is a non-profit association that provides community-based support to people with addictions and their families. Working from a public health, human rights, and gender perspective, the organization promotes recovery, reduces stigma, and improves quality of life in the Principality of Andorra.

Funds allocated through the program will be used to finance Mutual Support Groups (GAM) run by Projecte Vida, aimed at both people living with an addiction and their families. These groups offer safe and confidential spaces to share experiences, receive emotional support, and gain tools to navigate the recovery process, with trained facilitators and professional supervision.

The Solidarity Card is the initiative that channels the majority of MoraBanc’s social contribution in support of the most vulnerable individuals and groups. In addition to this program, MoraBanc also takes part in the toy collection campaign in support of Cáritas and promotes internal initiatives such as food collection drives among the bank’s employees.
