Types of residences and general requirements

Active residence

For people who want to live and work in Andorra. To obtain this type of residency, you need to have an employment contract with an Andorran company or be self-employed and incorporate a company in Andorra.

Passive residence

Designed for people who live in Andorra but do not actively take part in the country's economy. There are currently three main categories of passive residence, each with different general characteristics.
