A few days ago we launched two new ways of relating with our clients: a chat and a manager appointment programming module. The two operate via the online bank and mobile apps in a private, personal and secure fashion.
This improvement expands the “My Manager” space that our online clients have had since the launch of MoraBanc Online in December 2016 and which features the manager’s contact details, area of specialization and an interactive map with his location.
Here we explain more about these two new functionalities, currently available for Personal Bank, Private Banking, Business and Corporate Bank Office and MoraBanc Direct customers.
The MoraBanc chat
Gaining time is now easier than ever! We present a new way to hold a conversation with a MoraBanc manager without having to drop in at the branch or call us by phone.
Our new chat is a messaging tool accessible over the online bank or mobile app. It enables two-way client/manager conversations via the online banking, similar to other messaging systems like WhatsApp. Both customer and manager can create a conversation, specifying the subject, and chat in it. Because it’s located in the client’s private area (i.e., once they have entered the online bank) there is no risk of identity theft as it’s an area where the client has already been identified and is a much more secure channel than email.
This new client/manager relations channel makes communicating with your manager easier, more efficient and secure. And, because the chats are archived on the client conversation timeline, you can consult them whenever you want, wherever you are and with full security!
For more effective manager engagement you can also share files and images or include links to websites and even emoticons.
Make appointments in advance
Arranging a time to talk to your manager is easier than ever. Whether it’s to settle a query or get help in a financial decision, contacting a manager through the MoraBanc online bank and mobile apps is easy, convenient and fast.
To make an appointment with a manager from MoraBanc Digital just choose the customer service channel (in-person or by phone), the day and time block for the appointment and the channel you want to receive a confirmation message and reminder in (SMS or email). The manager will check his or her diary and confirm the appointment or propose an alternative time. The day before the scheduled appointment, you will get a message to remind you.

Information on the processing of personal data
In compliance with Law 15/2003 of 18 December on protection of personal data, the customer authorizes that the applicant’s personal data entered on this form will be incorporated into files owned and managed by MORA BANC GRUP, SA – MORA BANC, SAU (hereafter referred to as “MoraBanc”) to process the requested service and, if necessary, to comply with the contracts finally entered into, and also to ensure correct operational procedures.
The applicant expressly authorises MoraBanc to send him/her commercial and promotional communications for products and services and information on the Bank itself, social or other activities, in hardcopy by post or by electronic means (among others, short messages (SMS) to mobile phones, e-mail, etc.). This consent can always be withdrawn, without retroactive effect.
The fact of filling out this form implies that the applicant acknowledges that the information and personal data provided are true, accurate and correct; otherwise, MoraBanc declines all responsibility for the lack of truthfulness or correctness of the data.
The applicant authorises the data provided to be communicated or shared with third parties forming part of the MoraBanc business group, entities which are primarily active in the financial, insurance and service sectors. The applicant is considered as having been informed of this transfer of information by means of this clause. The applicant accepts that he/she may be sent information on any product or service marketed by these companies.
The data processing manager is MoraBanc. The applicant is hereby informed that the rights of access, rectification, suppression or opposition may be exercised in the terms established in current legislation.
